City of Foley issued the following announcement on March 10.
The 42nd annual Gulf Coast Regional Mustang & Mega Car Show returns to picturesque Downtown OWA on Saturday, March 19. Join us for a day-long adventure as we journey through different types of vehicles —from classic mustangs to (you guessed it!) MEGA cars.
Presented by the Gulf Coast Regional Mustang Club, this event is free for guests to attend and sure to delight all ages. Day of registration for those interested in presenting their cars will begin at 6:30am in the Main Entrance parking lot and will remain open until 11am. Judging will occur from 9am-12pm, with dozens of awards being presented at the awards ceremony beginning at 4pm on OWA Island. Special categories presented include best of decade Mustang and best generation Mustang, original and modified.
Interested participants are encouraged to pre-register online by Friday, March 18 for a requested donation of $40, or $45 the day of the event. On-site registration will also be available until 11am the day of the event and all cars must be registered prior to the completion of judging. Family and friends of car show participants will receive BOGO-Free Theme Park admission with proof of car show participation. The Gulf Coast Mustang & Mega Car Show is complimentary to attend and open to the public. Registration is required for those who wish to showcase their cars with all proceeds benefiting local charities.
