Beginning May 2nd for a period of 10 weeks, a portion of Fairhope Avenue between Greeno and Blue Island will be closed.
The principal detours will be Gayfer Avenue via Blue Island or Morphy Avenue for both east and west-bound directions.
Local traffic will be allowed to flow through residential areas for the duration of this phase of the project.
The project is creating a capacity improvement for the sewer collection system in an effort to improve sewer collection capability for current and future customers to the east.
