In the week ending Mar. 21, two gas stations in Baldwin County sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $3.99 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $4.52 per gallon.
Of the 147 reported gas stations in cities within Baldwin County, 69 offered premium gas.
Across Alabama, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas rose to $4.43, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
