The Orange Beach City Council on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 appointed five members to the first-ever Orange Beach City Schools Board of Education. They are Nelson Bauer, Randy McKinney, Shannon Robinson, Tracie Stark and Robert Stuart. RESOLUTION: A Resolution Appointing Members to the Orange Beach City Board of Education.

On Thursday, April 7, 2022, the Orange Beach City Schools Board of Education held a special organizational meeting in the Council Chambers of City Hall. At that meeting, Robert Stuart was selected to serve a Board President, Nelson Bauer was selected to serve as Board Vice President and Tracie Stark was selected to serve as Board Secretary. Additionally, Mayor Tony Kennon was selected to serve as council liaison to the board, which is a non-voting post.

The next meeting for the board is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12th in the Council Chambers at Orange Beach City Hall.
