Coastal Alabama Community College issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.

Phi Theta Kappa officers and members collected over 1100 snacks during a two-week service project for the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Alabama.

Phi Upsilon Chapter President Avie Etheridge delivered the snacks from nine donors to the Thomasville location.

Boys and Girls Club Chief Executive Office Dena LeNoir explained some of the safety measures the organization was taking and commented, “These snacks will serve at least 60 students over the next several weeks as we transition from summer to fall enrollment.”

One of PTK’s Hallmarks is service and continues to be a favorite element of membership for students and advisors.
