North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug 21.
On Thursday, August 20, 2020, the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce held a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for Pearl and Addie's Cafe in downtown Bay Minette. The cafe opened back in 2019 and quickly became a favorite among the community and visitors. Sadly at the beginning of this year, the cafe temporarily closed their doors due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and took some time away from serving up delicious lunch and take home items. The North Baldwin Community patiently waited for an announcement for Pearl & Addie's return and after plenty of thought and planning, owner, Lillian Overstreet, officially re-opened the doors at the end of July!
The cafe is located at 20 Hand Avenue and offers a daily blue plate special, yummy and unique menu items like burgers, wraps, wings, salads, and even take home meals for dinner each day! The restaurant is open for dine in and take out, Monday through Friday from 11am-3pm and has plans in store to start opening for Friday night dinner soon! Pearl & Addie's a great lunch spot with friends and co-workers, your stop for take home meals and some desserts/catering and has space available for large groups and parties!
We hope you have the chance to visit soon... the cafe is currently open for dining, with social distancing in place. Visit Pearl and Addie's Cafe on Facebook for more information on daily specials and take home items or give them a call at 251-239-8400 to place your order now! If you need a recommendation from Chamber Staff, the pimento cheese BLT is yummy, the Brittney Wrap is a must try and both the Pineapple and Squash Casseroles are out of this world!
