Downtown Foley Seeking Public Input on the Future

9

City of Foley issued the following announcement on March 21.

Foley Main Street, along with Foley Main Street sponsors, community partners, and the City of Foley are working together to support businesses and to capitalize on business and development opportunities that will help Downtown Foley emerge even stronger in the post-COVID-19 era. Envision Downtown Foley is a special planning initiative that will help us visualize the possibilities and set course toward an exciting future. We are seeking input from the community that will be vital to our continuing efforts to enhance Downtown Foley as a vibrant place to visit, work, live, play, do business, and invest. The survey takes about ten minutes or less to complete, and all information is collected anonymously.  You can take the survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/foley-al

Survey ends April 5th.  The survey results will be shared during the Envision Downtown Foley Public Forum on Monday, April 25th at 6:00 p.m. at the Foley Civic Center.  Mark it on your calendar and join us to share ideas and explore possibilities for the future of Downtown Foley. Then, make plans to join us again on Thursday April 28th at the Envision Downtown Foley Open House for a first look and a chance to share your thoughts on concepts that visualize possible downtown enhancements and development opportunities. The open house format invites you to stop by any time from 5 to 7 PM to view, discuss and comment on displayed concepts. Follow Foley Main Street on Facebook or Instagram for updates and watch for more announcements about Envision Downtown Foley Week, April 25 – 29th. For more information or to get involved call Foley Main Street at 251-270-0089.
