Students to the National Honor Society are chosen on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service and character. St. Michael has two “ballots” for consideration into the NHS, one in the middle of the spring of junior year, and one in the middle of the fall in the senior year.
At the induction ceremony, Mrs. Rita Treutel (NHS coordinator) and principal Faustin Weber congratulated the new members, but also challenged them to view their induction as a commission to live out the ideals of the NHS and lead their peers to do likewise. Mr. Weber’s remarks can be read here.
Well done, students!
