The City of Gulf Shores issued the following announcement on March 29.
The City of Gulf Shores is pleased to announce that the 2021 Resident Satisfaction Survey is complete, and the comprehensive survey report is now available to the public.
Through its findings, the survey provided valuable feedback from full-time residents about areas of success with city services, opportunities for improvement and what services should be considered a priority for future planning.
"Our top priority is making sure that we are consistently working towards improving our residents’ quality of life by providing exceptional city services,” said Mayor Robert Craft. “The data provided through this survey will be critical as we continue to enhance these services and plan for the future of our city."
The survey was conducted by ETC Institute, a company out of Olathe, Kan., that specializes in the design and administration of market research for governmental organizations. The survey was deployed via mail and online to a random sample of residents and was designed to have a precision of plus or minus 4.8% at the 95% level of confidence. In addition to the random sample, the survey was opened online for three weeks to allow those not included in the random sample the opportunity to participate.
