OWA Live Concert Series returns to OWA Parks & Resort

Featuring live family-friendly performances

Calling all music lovers! OWA Live Concert Series returns this July and August featuring electric performances sure to entertain all ages. Join us on select Saturdays this summer at the OWA Island Amphitheater for a sizzling lineup of free live music concerts! The fun kicks off Saturday, July 9, and continues weekly through August 13.

Saturday, July 9, features opening act Kyle Dorriety at 5:30pm and the return of the Red Clay Strays at 7:30pm. The Red Clay Strays claim Sturgill Simpson, Waylon Jennings, Jason Isbell, and Lynyrd Skynyrd among their many influences, blurring the lines between genres and bringing an authenticity that is unique to the Red Clay Strays. Come and experience it for yourself as they bring their Moment of Truth tour to the OWA Island!

Country and blues music is on full display Saturday, July 26, with Cole Jones performing at 5:30pm and the Will Wesley Band taking the stage at 7:30pm. Featuring two-time International Blues winner Will Wesley playing music from his most recent album Both Sides of the Tracks, attendees are sure to see why this album has garnered both national and international rave reviews in both the country and blues worlds.

Grab a cold beverage to go from your favorite Downtown OWA restaurant and meet us at the Island Saturday, July 30, for This Side of 49 playing at 5:30pm and Ryan Dyer taking the stage at 7:30pm. Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, the Ryan Dyer Band claims influence by country and southern rock. Don’t miss their performance of their new single “Hurt this good”!

Grab your dancing shoes and join us Saturday, August 6, for a high-energy night of music featuring Yeah You Right at 5:30pm and Flow Tribe at 7:30pm. Founded in 2004, Flow Tribe solidified with the mission to bring the next generation of the New Orleans’ sound of unstoppable rhythm and passion to the world. Their new toe-tapping single “Keep Pushing” featuring Ivan Neville is an upbeat funk/soul anthem that spreads the good word of never giving up. Celebrate the good times all night long with this sizzling hot lineup!

Save the date for Saturday, August 13, as the concert series winds down with one final night of music fun! Nashville South kicks off the party at 5:30pm with an interactive country-rock experience, unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Boukou Groove keeps the party going at 7:30pm with upbeat New Orleans funk and soul. Their infectious single “Let The Groove Ride” promises a good time for all!

Come experience Tropic Falls new indoor waterpark, a variety of delicious restaurants, and unique boutiques for a full day of summer fun before the concerts begin on OWA Island.
