Summertime is in full swing at OWA Parks & Resort this August, and we have a variety of activities to help beat the heat! Bring your loved ones and celebrate at our End of Summer Bash and 5th annual Community Safety Day or catch a family-friendly movie at our Island Movie Nights.

End your summer with a splash and join us for an evening of fun and excitement at our End of Summer Bash on Saturday, August 13! Kids activities begin at 4pm including bubble machines and foam craft kits. Plus, lawn games for everyone, including Jumbo Connect4, Giant Checkers, Ladderball, Cornhole and sprinklers! Challenge your family at our complimentary inflatable games station and beat the heat at our water slide! Stop by one of our delicious restaurants in Downtown OWA for a bite to eat during your day of fun and end the night with some live music from Nashville South and Boukou Groove at the OWA Live free summer music series beginning at 5:30pm!

Plan a day of fun at OWA and top off the evening with a free movie on the OWA Island Amphitheater select Saturdays in August and September. Arrive early for themed activities from scavenger hunts to arts and crafts and even a dog adoption event! Bring a chair, blanket or towel and enjoy an evening outdoors on the lawn. Head to Downtown OWA for Community Safety Day on Saturday, August 20, beginning at 5pm. During this complimentary event, guests will enjoy interactive demonstrations and activities from first responders, public safety officers, and local organizations that support the betterment of our South Baldwin community. Plus, it’s a great way to help us celebrate those who work so hard to help keep our community safe! Come out and meet representatives from MedStar, Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation, Graham Creek Nature Preserve, Riviera Utilities and more! Arrive as early as 2pm and donate blood at the Life South Blood Mobile parked next the Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar.

Experience Tropic Falls new indoor waterpark, a variety of delicious restaurants, and unique boutiques for a full day of summer fun before the activities begin.
