Ken Stabler was born on December 25, 1945, in Foley, Alabama. He played high school football at Foley High School. He attended the University of Alabama and played quarterback under coach Bear Bryant. Stabler joined the NFL in 1968 and played most of his career with the Oakland Raiders. He led the Raiders to a Super Bowl win in 1977. He also played for the Oilers and Saints before retiring. He passed for over 27,000 yards in his career. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. Foley was his hometown.
