Died July 8, 2015, at age 69

Ken Stabler died on July 8, 2015, at age 69. He was born in Foley, Alabama, and played quarterback at Foley High School. He starred at the University of Alabama before joining the NFL. He spent most of his career with the Oakland Raiders. He led them to a Super Bowl victory in 1977. Stabler played for two more teams before retiring in 1984. He later worked in broadcasting. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. Foley was where he grew up and started playing football.
